Janison

Janison provides digital learning solutions for schools and government agencies. They deliver online assessments, including NAPLAN tests and driving and boating tests for Transport for NSW. Read more.

DoE and Janison 

The NSW Department of Education (DoE) and Janison have partnered to deliver the Selective High School and Opportunity Class Placement Tests across New South Wales. The tests will be delivered via computer-based testing using Janison’s test platform in multiple venues.

Selective High School (SHS)

The Selective High School Placement Test is administered to students for placement in selective high schools across NSW for Year 7 entry the following year. Students taking the test are typically in Year 6 and are allocated to a test centre. There can be students from both government and non-government schools in each test centre.

Opportunity Class (OC)

The Opportunity Class Placement Test is administered to students for placement in opportunity classes across NSW for Year 5 entry the following year. Students taking the test are typically in Year 4 and there can be students from both government and non- government schools in each test centre.
